The nod achieved by the company at the Public Hearing conducted today by State Pollution Control Board signifies full compliance by the Company to the specific point of ‘Public Hearing’ for such expansion plan under ‘Terms of Reference’ (ToR) towards Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as prescribed by Ministry of Environment & Forest (MoEF). The Company proposes to optimise the capacity of the grinding unit from current 1.35 million tons per annum (MTPA) to 1.75 MTPA in Phase I and thereafter add fresh capacity of 2.25 MTPA in Phase II, taking total installed capacity of the unit to 4.0 MTPA.
